OLO is a new brand in the cannabis marketplace that I had the opportunity to work on with The Velo Group. Utilizing biochemistry and neuroscience to create a truly unique product, each strain is named after an experience: Social, Chill, Focus and Active. By looking through the lens of five specific effects of cannabis, the distinct nature of each experience shines through. OLO is also one of the first brands to utilize a sublingual strip as a delivery system.
For the branding and packaging we wanted to target a more sophisticated consumer-and did not want it to feel like the typical “cannabis-based” product. Clean lines, negative space and color were all used to really help define the look and feel.
This packaging system received numerous honors, including a 2018 Health + Wellness Design award from GD USA.
